At 12:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, Richard D. Traxler, 54, of Whiting, was traveling eastbound on Kansas Highway 9, approximately 1/2 mile west of Q Road when he struck a deer. Traxler was driving a 1983 Honda Motorcycle. He was transported to the Holton Hospital by EMS. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 6:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, Aaron F. Goforth, 21, of Soldier was traveling westbound on Kansas Highway 63 just east of J Road when he swerved to miss a deer and went in to the ditch. He was driving a 2016 Nissan four door. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, Christopher Niehues, 26, of Havensville was traveling northbound on Kansas Highway 63 just north of 24th Road when he struck a deer. He was driving a 1995 GMC Sierra. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
