ARRESTS

Samantha Ogden, 22, of Seneca was arrested by Seneca Police Department (PD) on Nov. 2, for the offense of driving while suspended. Ogden was released on $250 surety bond on Nov. 2 with a court date of 9 a.m. on Dec. 21.

Laura Sauer, 50, of Seneca was arrested by the NMSO on Nov. 2 on a Nemaha County warrant for giving a worthless check. Sauer was released on $270 cash bond on Nov. 2 with a court date of 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 6.

Amanda J. Williams, 30, of Axtell, was arrested by Seneca PD on Nov. 2 for the offense of driving while suspended. Williams was released on $500 cash bond on Nov. 2 with a court date of 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 21.

Rodney J. Scoggins, Jr., was released on Nov. 3 to Dekalb County, Mo., authorities.

ACCIDENTS

At 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, Ann M. Kent, 65, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on X Road just south of 204th when she struck a deer. She was driving a 2013 Toyota Rav4. Damage is listed at more than $1,000.

At 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, Sylvester D. Fox, 73, of Frankfort was traveling westbound on Kansas Highway 9 just east of B Road when he struck a deer. He was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox. Damage is listed at more than $1,000.

REPORTED CRIMES / INCIDENT RESPONSES

Between Oct. 26 and Oct. 28, an unknown person removed multiple items from a property at 500 W6 Road in Wetmore. Taken were chainsaws, hand tools, brush trimmers, ladder, drill and many other items. Approximate loss was $3,230.
