Lobos defeat the Blues, 8-3

After a sudden change in location for the last meet up between the Sabetha Lobos and the Baldwin City Blues, the Lobos would bring home another win after defeating the Blues, 8-3.

Both teams went scoreless for the first two innings, but Baldwin City scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the third. Sabetha would finally get on the board after Aaron Fuller hit a home run with two outs in the fourth. Chaz Dunn and Yamil Rosario also were able to score, which made the score 3-1 heading into the bottom of the fourth. The Blues left one runner stranded on base in the bottom of the inning, unable to score.

Baldwin City tied the game up in the bottom of the fifth when they scored two additional runs off a double, base hit and a walk. The Lobos would then score another two runs in the sixth and three in the seventh. Baldwin City was unable to tally any more runs during the game, and the Lobos would win, 8-3.

Fuller tallied two runs off one hit, as well as one RBI. Noah Catron had two runs scored, two hits and one RBI. Dunn tallied two runs scored and two hits.

Juan Perdomo started on the mound for the Lobos. He pitched five innings, surrendering three runs on seven hits, while striking out six batters and walking five.

Perdomo was relieved by Wade Witt, who pitched one full inning. He allowed one hit.

Witt was relieved by Juan Estrada Arriola, who allowed one hit.
