Brown County chapter of Quail Forever sponsors 12th annual youth quail/pheasant hunt

The Brown County chapter of Quail Forever is sponsoring the 12th annual “Stan Boos Youth Hunt” pheasant hunt on Saturday, Nov. 4. This hunt is for youth between the ages of 11 and 16.
Any youth interested in participating may pick up an application in the Hiawatha High or Middle School offices or email Larry Weast at firstname.lastname@example.org. All applications must be returned by Friday, Oct. 27. The number of participants is limited to 15. Participants will be chosen on the basis of their application. One lucky youth hunter will receive a lifetime hunting license.
Youth Hunt participants must meet four requirements: first, you must be no younger than 11 and no older than 16; second, you must have successfully completed a hunter safety course; third, you must complete a short statement of one or more paragraphs about why you wish to participate in the “Youth Hunt” and what you can do to conserve natural resources; and fourth, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or their representative.
