ARRESTS

Douglas H. Doty, 60, of Sabetha was arrested by the Sabetha PD for the offenses of domestic battery, criminal damage and assault. He remains in custody.

ACCIDENTS

At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, Leo Sanders, 87, of Seneca was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 3/4 mile east of Kansas Highway 187 when he struck a deer. Sanders was driving a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. More than $1,000 damage is estimated.

At 7:05 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, Dolores Rogenkamp, 50, of Sabetha was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36 about 1/2 mile east of N Road when she struck a deer. Roggenkamp was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. More than $1,000 damage is estimated.

At 1:03 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, Corey L. Holthaus, 23, of Seneca was traveling southbound on Kansas Highway 187 near 112th Road. He was driving a 2017 GMC pickup when he struck a deer. More than $1,000 damage is estimated.

At 7:58 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, Renee Thieme, 33, of Wetmore was traveling eastbound on 64th Road about 1/2 mile west of W Road when she struck a deer. Thieme was driving a 2006 Chevy Equinox. More than $1,000 damage is estimated.
