Stolen truck sought by authorities

Sabetha Police Department is seeking any information on a truck that was stolen from a Sabetha home last week.

According to Sabetha’s Chief of Police Robert Wahwasuck, on Friday, Dec. 15, his office took a report of a stolen 2001 Ford F150, from a residence located in the 300 block of Spruce Street. That vehicle is alleged to have been used in the assistance of second vehicle theft in Fairview later that day. The case remains under active investigation.

The 2001 Ford F150 is a four-door, two-tone (dark blue over tan) with Kansas tag 636FGV. Additional descriptors were given were that the F150 had some pin striping along the side, black nerf bar running boards and a sun roof.

If the vehicle is seen, please contact your local law enforcement agency and report it, or contact the Sabetha Police Department at 785-284-2158.
