ARRESTS

Jamie R. Jackman, 24, of Sabetha was arrested on Dec. 18, 2017, on a Nemaha County warrant for probation violation. Jackman was released from custody on Dec. 19, 2017, on a $250 cash and $2,250 recognizance bond. Her court date is set for Jan. 25 at 10 a.m.

Eric Brock, 31, of Topeka was arrested by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 19, 2017, on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. Brock was released on Dec. 20, 2017, on a $250 cash and $2,500 recognizance bond. Court is set for Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

Joshua Scott, 36, of Seneca was arrested by the NMSO on Dec. 20, 2017, on a Nemaha County warrant for domestic battery. He was released on the same day on a $1,500 own recognizance (OR) bond. Court is set for Jan. 16 at 9:30 a.m.

Grant Ward, 27, of Dubois, Neb., was arrested by the NMSO on Dec. 20, 2017, on charges of possession of an opiate and drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container. Ward was released on Dec. 22, 2017, on a $250 cash bond along with a $2,500 recognizance bond. Court date is set for Jan. 16 at 9:30 a.m.

Natalie Leishing, 18, of Baileyville was arrested by the Seneca Police Department on Dec. 21, 2017, on charges for probation violation and possession of an opiate. Leishing remains in custody.

Shelly Lamonte, 40, of Salina was released on Dec. 20, 2017, on a $2,500 OR bond. Court is set for Jan. 24 at 5 p.m.

ACCIDENTS

At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, Kevin Hunninghake, 27, of Seneca was traveling westbound on 104th Road approximately 0.3 mile west of K4 Road when he struck a deer, causing his vehicle to overturn. Hunninghake was driving a 2007 Ford Explorer. More than $1,000 damage is estimated.

At 1:26 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, Stephen Stuke, 69, of Sabetha was traveling southbound on P Road approximately 0.4 mile north of 96th Road, when he struck two calves. Stuke was driving a 2007 Chevy Silverado. More than $1,000 damage is estimated.
