4-H Dog Club have busy December

The Nemaha County 4-H Dog Members gave back this holiday season by making and donating fleece tie blankets on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Blankets included eleven baby blankets for local hospitals and five lap blankets for local nursing homes. Members include FRONT ROW (L-R) Henry Tangeman, Harry Langill, Jack Tangeman and Cora Langill; MIDDLE ROW (L-R) Jenny Edelman, Kaydence Heiman, Bob Langill and Owen Geyer; BACK ROW (L-R) Katie Tangeman, Madelynn Heiman, Karly Tangeman, Thomas Edelman and John Langill.
Members of the Nemaha County 4-H Dog Club toured KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc. on Saturday, December 16, 2017. This business is a nonprofit organization that got started by 4-H Dog Club in Washington, Kan. Members learned about how dogs are raised on a day to day basis, and got to see some dogs in training. At the conclusion of the tour, bleach, cups, plates, and napkins were donated to KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc. These items were donated from people across Nemaha County that were collected at the Nemaha County 4-H Achievement Night.
