Morrill City Council 12.18.17

The Morrill City Council met in regular session on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, with members Miles Ploeger, Dan Halstead, Todd Gruber and Robert Wahwasuck present. Mayor Roger Price presided. Superintendent Lee Wymer was absent.
Minutes and vouchers were approved.
Council instructed Ashley Martinez to reissue violation tickets to start the process over due to the length of time that the city has not had an attorney or judge.
Fire Chief Charlie Gruber said the fire department had received a grant which will pay for part of a remote nozzle. After discussion, council members approved allowing the fire department to keep the tanker truck instead of getting rid of it.
It was decided to accept payments from an individual for the final bill that had been sent.
After discussion regarding the cost to repair the hydraulic lines on the line truck, it was decided Wymer should get more estimates.
Nothing is known concerning the status of a sewer problem.
After reviewing the delinquent accounts, it was decided to shut off eight services if payments are not made.
