Post-Secondary Honors: Peru State College
Nearly 40 percent of the Bobcat student-athlete contingency recently were honored by making Peru State’s Fall 2017 Semester Dean’s List.
All nine of the athletic department’s programs were represented with at least three or more individuals. In order to make Peru State’s Dean’s List, a student must have a 3.5 grade point average and have completed 12 or more credit hours.
Local student Emily Meyer of Morrill, volleyball, was named to the Dean’s List. She is majoring in K-12 Health and Physical Education.
The 90 student-athletes listed is the largest group recognized in many years. The golf and volleyball teams had the highest percentages of their teams earning dean’s list recognition. All six golfers made the list while 16 of 18 volleyball players earned the recognition.
