Morrill City Council 1.15.18

The Morrill City Council met in regular session on Monday, Jan. 15, with members Todd Gruber, Dan Halstead, Miles Ploeger and Robert Wahwasuck present. Mayor Roger Price presided. Superintendent Lee Wymer was present.

Oaths of Office were given. Miles Ploeger leaves. Kevin Wikle and Bob Baumgartner take their places at the table. Minutes and vouchers were approved.

Elizabeth Henninger asked if she could make payments on the fine she had received for her dogs running loose. After discussion, council members agreed to allow Elizabeth to make three payments.

Ashley Martinez said she has issued other tickets for a dog and sewer violation. Nothing has been heard from that individual. Martinez issued a 10-day fix-it ticket to another person to clean up the property.

After reviewing the quotes for the repair of the hydraulic lines on the bucket truck, council members approved having Custom Truck do the repairs.

Council members approved a transfer from the water fund to capital outlay fund $ 1,225 per month to cover cost of painting the water tower in three years.

After reviewing the delinquent account list, it was decided to shut off nine services if payments are not made.
