Sabetha woman injured in Tuesday morning accident

A Sabetha woman was taken to the hospital with possible injuries after she was in a roll-over accident in Brown County.

At approximately 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, the Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 36, 0.1 mile east of Foxtail Road. According to the KHP, a 2004 Honda CR-V driven by 29-year-old Amber Lierz of Sabetha was eastbound on U.S. Highway 36 when she lost control due to the slick roadway. She left the road to the south and rolled.

Lierz was taken to Hiawatha Community Hospital with possible injuries. According to the KHP, Lierz was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
