Morrill City Council 2.5.18

The Morrill City Council met in regular session Monday, Feb. 5, with members Todd Gruber, Kevin Wikle, Dan Halstead and Bob Baumgartner present. Mayor Roger Price presided. Superintendent Lee Wymer also was present.
Minutes and vouchers were approved.
After discussion with Cody Gaston concerning the ticket he had received for his dog running loose, the council decided to allow Gaston to pay $ 25 per month on the fine.
The council decided to waive the ticket to Lee Cole if after the code enforcement officer inspects the property and finds action has been made to clean up the property, with the stipulation the property has to be kept clean or two tickets will be issued.
Teresa Cole has been issued a 10-day fix ticket to clean up her property. Code Enforcement Officer Ashley Martinez said Ann Dietrich is to get an estimate on demolishing one of her houses and send it to the city.
The City Attorney is proceeding with Chad Reynolds’ tickets due to Reynolds not responding to the tickets he had received.
The council voted to appoint all the current officers for another term.
The council voted to appoint Gruber as president of the council.
The council voted to allow Wymer to attend the water conference.
Wymer said the hoses for his bucket truck should be delivered this week to allow scheduling of the truck to be repaired.
After discussion of trailer houses in the city limits, it was decided to get information from other sources of what regulations could be required.
