Governing Body: Morrill City Council

The Morrill City Council met in regular session Tuesday, Feb. 20, with members Bob Baumgartner, Todd Gruber, Kevin Wikle and Dan Halstead present and President of Council Todd Gruber presiding. Superintendant Lee Wymer was present.
Minutes and vouchers were approved.
It has been found trailer houses cannot be prohibited and no dollar value can be placed on them. Physical requirements can be put on them. The matter was tabled until the next meeting to allow the council to look at different ordinances.
Fire Chief Charlie Gruber said the pump on the tanker truck needs replaced, giving an estimate of $1,000 to replace it. It was decided to allow the fire department to get a new pump after looking for one that would be cheaper.
A date of Saturday, May 5, was set for the Annual Clean-Up Day.
It was decided to find out what the status is of the small claims case.
It was decided to have all fine payments due by the 10th. To have the city attorney proceed with action toward another individual who has not responded for citations he had received was also decided.
Wymer said the bucket truck has been scheduled to have the hydraulic lines replaced.
Reviewed were the delinquent accounts. It was decided to shut off three services if payments are not received.
