ARRESTS

Jonathan Dawson, 27, of Pawnee City, Neb., was released on March 1 on a $500 own recognizance (OR) bond. His next court date is March 15 at 4 p.m.

Orlyn J. Cureau Jr., 44, of Aurora, Colo., was arrested on March 3 by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) for the offense of driving while suspended. He was released on March 4 on $250 cash bond. Cureau was also served a Sherman County warrant for failure to appear and released on $5,000 surety bond with a court date of March 20 at 9 a.m.

Michael D. McClary, 62, of Overland Park, was arrested on March 4 by the Seneca Police Department for the offense of driving under the influence. McClary remains in custody with bond set at $2,500.

Randy A. Davis, 32, of Oneida was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on March 4 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. He remains in custody with bond set at $500.

Zachariah Brown, 35, of Highland was arrested by the NMSO on March 5 on a Nemaha County warrant for probation violation. Brown remains in custody.

William Ackerman, 32, of Holton was arrested by the NMSO on March 6 on a Nemaha County warrant for probation violation. He remains in custody on $5,000 bond.

ACCIDENTS

At 10:17 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, Phillip McClain, 63, of Goff was traveling northbound on W Road 0.6 mile north of 72nd Road when he struck a deer. McClain was driving a 2012 Ford F150. More than $1,000 damage was estimated.
