Richard Niedfeldt, 56, of Emmett was arrested by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) on April 5 on charges of theft of property. He was released on April 7 on a $5,000 surety bond. Court is set for April 17 at 3 p.m.
Michael Bohling, 39, of Humboldt, Neb., was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on April 7 on a warrant for giving a worthless check. He was released on $156.14 cash with a court date of May 8 at 9:30 a.m.
Marc Nichols, 22, of Rossville was released on April 7 on a $5,000 surety bond with court set for April 17 at 3:30 p.m.
Marrissa Slone, 19, of Axtell was arrested on April 10 on a Nemaha County warrant for battery on a law enforcement officer, driving under the influence, reckless driving and maximum speed limits. She was released on April 10 on a $4,000 surety bond. Court is set for May 8 at 9:30 a.m.
Robert Servantez, 29, of Topeka was released to the custody of Wyandotte County on April 11.
Eric J. Brock, 32, of Topeka was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on April 11 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. He remains in custody with bond set at $25,000.
At 5:48 p.m. Monday, April 9, Kaleb Grimm, 16, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on W Road when he lost control of his vehicle causing him to go into the ditch. Grimm was driving a 1999 Chevy 2500. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
At 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, Justin Allen, 28, of Holton was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36 between Seneca and Baileyville when the vehicle in front of him lost a tub that hit Allen’s windshield causing damage. Allen was driving a 2016 Ram 3500. Damage was estimated at less than $1,000.
At 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, Zachary Kuhlman, 21, of Seneca was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36 approximately 188 feet west of Y Road when he struck a deer. Kuhlman was driving a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
