Jays claim first in Big 7 Quad

The Sabetha Bluejays claimed first in their second Big 7 Quad of the season on Monday, April 30, at Holton. This time the Jays defeated Holton and Nemaha Central.

Sabetha scored 158, while Holton scored 174 and Nemaha Central was at 181.

“We shot really well in the strong wind,” said Head Coach Scott Burger. “We had three golfers shoot a 37, which was a great score. In both the varsity and JV competition, four of the five medalists were from Sabetha.”

Senior Garrett Scott, junior Jesse Burger and sophomore David Pierson each shot a 37, which earned them second, third and fourth places, respectively.
