Two of the seven Democratic candidates for Kansas Governor will be visiting Seneca in the coming week.
Michael Tabman of Overland Park will be at the Home Plate Café in Seneca for a meet and greet at 2 p.m. Monday, May 14.
Laura Kelly of Topeka will be hosted for a meet and greet at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Seneca Public Library.
Beverages and light refreshments will be served at both events, which are hosted by the Nemaha County Democrats.
The Nemaha County Democrats invite interested individuals to take this opportunity to hear Tabman and Kelly and their concerns of education, agriculture and nature resources, the economy, the environment, and social issues of interest to voters and residents of the Sunflower State.
The Nemaha County Democrats will hold their regular monthly meeting following Kelly’s appearance, at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19.
Additionally, the Nemaha County Democrats will host a dinner for candidates who will appear on the primary ballot, and encourage interested voters to attend. This event will be held on Wednesday, June 20, at the Stallbaumer Social Center.
