Forensics team competes at State

The Sabetha High School forensics team took 22nd place overall out of 47 teams at the State Forensics Champs meet in Wichita on Saturday, May 5.


Earning fourth place in duet acting was the team of senior Samantha Edwards and sophomore Rachel Kuenzi. Junior Henry Glynn placed 10th in extemporaneous speaking.


The following students received 1 ratings: juniors Cheyan Rokey and Norea Menold in duet acting; junior Jadyn Graybill and freshman Denver Menold in Improvised Duet Acting (IDA); sophomores Anna Scott and Ainsley Smith in IDA; and junior Payton Lippert and freshman Keenan Lippert in IDA.

The following students received 2 ratings: junior Santana Grimm in informative speaking; freshman Leah Renyer in prose interpretation; and freshmen Sammi Gutknecht and Haylee Kramer in IDA.
