Students to graduate this weekend

Students in the Prairie Hills USD No. 113 will say farewell to high school as they graduate on Saturday, May 12.

Sabetha High School has 51 seniors graduating, while Wetmore High School has 11 seniors.

The commencement exercises will be held as follows:

• 2 p.m. at Wetmore High School

• 7 p.m. at Sabetha High School

Sabetha’s Class of 2018 selected the white rose as the class flower and navy and silver as the class colors. The motto for the class is quote by Abraham Lincoln, “And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”

Wetmore’s Class of 2018 chose the blush peony as their class flower and blush, forest green and gold as the class colors. The motto is a quote by Robert Louis Stevenson, “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”
