Law Enforcement Report: Sabetha Police Department

ACCIDENTS

On Tuesday,May 22, the Sabetha Police Department (SPD) responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and 260th Road. A piece of farm equipment had backed into a passenger car, rendering it immobile. There were no injuries and damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

CASES

On May 2, the SPD responded to a vehicle fire in the 200 block of North First.

On May 4, the SPD arrested 55-year-old Michael Bankes of Sabetha for driving while revoked.

On May 10, the SPD arrested 50-year-old Scotty Gray of Topeka for possession of methamphetamine.

On May 16, the SPD took a report of missing person, who was then later located.

On May 17, the SPD took a report of criminal damage to property in the 500 block of North Washington.

On May 23, the SPD responded to a vehicle fire in the 1500 block of Harrison.
