Law Enforcement Report: Nemaha County Sheriff

ARRESTS

Jacob S. Feldkamp, 29, of Marysville was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on May 24 on a Nemaha County warrant for two counts of distribution of methamphetamines. He remains in custody with bond set at $250,000.

Jamie R. Jackman, 25, of Topeka was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on May 24 on a Nemaha County warrant for two counts of distribution of methamphetamines. She remains in custody with bond set at $150,000.

Curtis A. Clark, 35, of Wetmore was arrested on May 24 by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) for the offenses of domestic battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Clark remains in custody.

Nicholas S. Peeples was released by the court on probation on May 24.

Gage D. Gresham, 20, of Sabetha was arrested on May 26 by the Sabetha Police Department (PD) for the offenses of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and indecent liberties with a child. He remains in custody with bond set at $200,000.

Jose A. Martinez-Gomez, 18, of Greenleaf, was arrested on May 28 by the Seneca PD for the offense of operating a vehicle without the required ignition interlock device. He was released on May 28 on $1,000 surety bond with a court date of June 20 at 5 p.m.

Tad Alfrey was released to the custody of Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) on May 30.

Brayton Enneking was released to the custody of KDOC on May 30.

Zachariah Brown was released to the custody of KDOC on May 31.

Cloyd H. Kanaly, 49, of Oneida was arrested by the NMSO on May 30 on a Nemaha County warrant for giving a worthless check. Kanaly was released on $275 cash bond with a court date of June 26 at 9:30 a.m.

ACCIDENTS

At 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, Jachel A. Atwood, 20, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on V Road, approximately 1/4 mile north of 224th Road, when she lost control on the gravel, left the roadway and struck a guide wire. She was driving a 2014 Kia Soul. Damage is estimated at more than $1,000.

At 12:50 a.m. Saturday, May 26, Jake A. Thornton, 18, of Topeka was traveling on a private roadway on Centralia Lake property negotiating a northbound curve. Amber C. Summers, 23, of Seneca was traveling southbound at that same location. The vehicles collided, causing more than $1,000 in damage. Thornton was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima, and Summers was driving a 2011 Ford Explorer.

At 5:48 p.m. Sunday, May 27, Daniel V. Feldkamp, 69, of Bern was traveling on 232nd Road just east of Q4 Road when the vehicle he was driving caught fire. He was driving a 1973 Chevrolet Truck. Damage is estimated at more than $1,000.

At 9:29 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, Anthony D. Tull, 41, of Lincoln, Neb., was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 75 approximately 1/4 mile south of 305th Street in Brown County when he crossed the centerline after a tire malfunction. Tull struck an oncoming semi driven by Joel D. Loftis, 61, of Herman, Neb. Tull was driving a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and Loftis was driving a 2009 Kenworth Semi and trailer. Damage is estimated at more than $1,000.

At 9:23 p.m. Wedesday, May 30, Lori A. Kokenge, 53, of Topeka was traveling southbound on Kansas Highway 63 approximately 1/3 mile south of 112th Road when she struck a deer. She was driving a 2014 Kia Optima. Damage is estimated at more than $1,000.
