Legion takes first loss

With a strong start to the season, the Raptors traveled to Wymore, Neb., on Saturday, June 2. Wymore put the first runs on the board and held the lead for the remainder of the game. The Raptors would take their first loss of the season, 4-3.

Sabetha struggled to score runs in the first, second and third innings, while Wymore got on the board immediately with two runs in the first. They scored another run in the third, while the Raptors managed their first run in the fourth. Wymore would hold onto their lead and eventually win the game, 4-3.

The Raptors tallied seven hits, while Wymore only managed six. Leading the Raptors on offense were Joe Gruber and Braden Argabright, each going two for three at the plate. Argabright also tallied one RBI, along with Brandon Brownlee and Brayden Becker.
