Raptors defeat Hiawatha

With four wins under their belts, the Sabetha Raptors traveled to Hiawatha on Friday, June 1, with the hopes of bringing home another win.

The Raptors started off strong in the first inning, collecting 10 runs. Hiawatha struggled on offense, tallying only one run in the third, while Sabetha kept the bats going and scored another run in the second and five in the third. Sabetha went on to win 16-1.

The Raptors were led by Brandon Brownlee, who went three for three at the plate. Mason Spellmeier and Preston Bruning each went two for two at the plate.

Spellmeier drove in three RBIs, while Brownlee, Braden Argabright and Riley Herrmann drove in two each.
