Court Updates: Gage Gresham
A Sabetha man who was arrested at the end of last month appeared in court to have his preliminary hearing continued and bond reduction denied.
Gage Gresham, 20, appeared in court Wednesday, June 6, for his scheduled preliminary hearing, but requested it be continued. The continuation was granted, and he is now scheduled to appear at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10.
According to Nemaha County Attorney Brad Lippert, Gresham’s bond reduction was denied.
“In lieu of the preliminary hearing, the Court heard Mr. Gresham’s motion to reduce bond,” he said. “The motion was denied and bond remains set at $200,000.”
Gresham was arrested on Saturday, May 26, and charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy and indecent liberties with a child. According to the complaint, it is alleged that Gresham engaged in sexual intercourse, sodomy, and lewd fondling or touching with a 15-year-old child. This case was investigated by the Sabetha Police Department.
