Because of your generosity and support over the past two years, the goal of endowing Tara Ploeger’s Memorial Scholarship was accomplished this year! On May 26th, we hosted the 2nd Annual Tara Ploeger Memorial 5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk. This year combined with last year, we were able to raise over $47,500 for Tara’s scholarship. The original endowment goal was $44,000. Words do not seem adequate to express how grateful we are to all who played a part in making this event and scholarship a huge success.
We are blessed by so many generous businesses and individuals in our community. There’s a saying “a picture is worth 1000 words”. Maybe a list is worth 1000 words. In fact, I think you all are worth more than 1000 words, but I hope a simple “thank you” conveys how grateful and loved we have all felt by you – especially the Ploeger Family.
