Raptors defeat Doniphan County 7-0

The Sabetha Raptors continued their week at home on Sunday, June 24, with a game against Doniphan County. Sabetha would win this game, as well, to advance their record to 18-5.

Both teams’ defenses held each other scoreless in the first inning, but Sabetha got the bats going in the second — scoring three runs. Doniphan County managed four hits during the game, but struggled to get runners around the bases. Sabetha scored one run each in both the fourth and fifth innings, and extended their lead by two more runs in the sixth. Sabetha would win this game 7-0.

Blake Frey went two for two at the plate, scoring two runs and driving in one run. Riley Herrmann went two for three at the plate and tallied two RBIs.
