Law Enforcement Report: Nemaha County Sheriff
James L. Parr was released to the custody of Pottawatomie County on June 25.
Gary M. Davis, 32, of Topeka was arrested on June 25 by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office for the offense of felony theft. He remains in custody.
Ronald K. Brooks Jr. was released on June 28 on a $2,500 own recognizance bond with a court date of July 27 at 11:30 a.m.
Kenneth S. Bailey, 25, of Hamlin was arrested on June 28 by the Kansas Highway Patrol for the offenses of driving while suspended and no liability insurance. He was released on June 28 on $1,250 surety bond with a court date of July 31 at 9:30 a.m.
At 10 p.m. Thursday, June 21, Elizabeth A. Badertscher, 25, of Seneca was traveling northbound on Kansas Highway 63, 1/4 mile south of 182nd Road, when she struck a deer. She was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
At 10:22 p.m. Sunday, June 24, Nroh L. Wykert, 24, of Bern was traveling southbound on V Road just south of 208th Road when she struck a deer. She was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Pickup. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
REPORTED CRIMES / INCIDENT RESPONSES
NMSO received a report of criminal damage to property at 202 Railroad Ave. in Centralia. Sometime between 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23, and 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 24, an unknown person or persons damage a Ford pickup and stole fuel cards and other things from the vehicle. Estimated damage/loss is $10,025.
