Kansas Highway Patrol reports Independence Day holiday activity

The Kansas Highway Patrol is releasing its Independence Day Holiday Activity Report. The reporting period for the holiday ran from 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, July 4.

Kansas Highway Patrol personnel assisted 433 motorists over the holiday reporting period and did not work any fatal crashes over the holiday.

Information in the table is compared to data from both 2016 and 2017. The reporting period for this year, was much shorter than that of the previous two years.
