Law Enforcement Report: Nemaha County Sheriff
Sherri F. Carr, 30, of Seneca, was arrested on July 2 on a Nemaha County warrant for probation violation. Carr was released on July 5 on $750 cash bond with a court date of Aug. 1 at 1:30 p.m.
William L. Givian, 38, of Topeka was arrested on July 5 by the Kansas Highway Patrol on a Shawnee County warrant for aggravated battery. He was released on $5,000 surety bond on July 5 with a court date of Aug. 23 at 1:30 p.m.
Jamie R. Jackman was released on July 5 to the custody of Kansas Department of Corrections.
At 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, Deborah K. Stringer, 59, of Topeka was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 1/2 mile east of U Road when she struck a deer. She was driving a 2017 Kia Rio. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
