Raptors sweep Seneca

The Raptors were coming off two wins over Oskaloosa when they welcomed Seneca to town on Sunday, July 8. Sabetha won both games 10-0, with the first one being a no hitter.

Game one

Sabetha started off strong in game one, scoring three runs in the first inning. They advanced their lead by four runs in the second, two runs in the third and a final run in the fourth. The Raptors allowed no hits during the 10-0 win.

Braden Argabright and Riley Herrmann each went two for two at the plate, with Herrmann collecting three runs, while Argabright collected two runs and one RBI.

Game two

Sabetha started game two off right as well, scoring six runs in the first inning. They advanced their lead by one run in the second and three runs in the third.

When Seneca couldn’t close the gap in the fourth inning, the game would be over and Sabetha would win game two, 10-0. Kyle Grimm led the Raptors offensively, going two for three at the plate, while scoring one run and collecting four RBIs.
