ARRESTS

Andrew Cervantes Jr., 34, of Wichita was arrested by the NMSO on Aug. 1 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. Cervantes remains in custody. Bond is set at $500 cash.

Andre Harrison, 52, of Topeka was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on Aug. 1 on a Shawnee County warrant for failure to appear. Harrison was released on the same day on a $1,000 Own Recognizance (OR) bond. Court is set for Sept. 19 at 9 a.m.

Travis Ross, 27, of Seneca was arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol on Aug. 3 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear, a Jackson County warrant for failure to appear, and an additional felony warrant out of Nebraska.

Kenneth Manley, 57, of Marysville was arrested by the NMSO on Aug. 3 on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was released on the same day on a $250 cash bond. Court is set for Sept. 4 at 9:30 a.m.

William Carr, 63, of Seneca was arrested by Seneca PD on Aug. 3 on a Jackson County warrant for failure to appear, as well as charges of possession of a controlled substance. Carr remains in custody. Bond has not been set.

Marcus Henninger, 25, of Goff was arrested by the Seneca PD on Aug. 4 on charges of driving while suspended. Henninger was released on Aug. 5 on a $2,000 surety bond. Court is set for Sept. 19 at 5 p.m.

Alex Surdez, 24, of Vermillion was arrested by the NMSO on Aug. 5 on charges of driving under the influence and transporting an open container. Surdez was released on the same day on a $1,250 cash bond. Court is set for Sept. 4 at 9:30 a.m.

Dylan Barrett, 27, of Oneida was arrested by the NMSO on Aug. 9 on charges of theft. He was released on Aug. 2 on a $750 surety bond with a court date of Aug. 27 at 9:30 a.m.

ACCIDENTS

Sometime before 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, an unknown vehicle was traveling westbound on 184th Road when it left the right side of the roadway and struck a power pole. The driver left the scene without reporting the accident. Damage is estimated at more than $1,000.
