COURT UPDATE: Gage Gresham
The attorney for a Sabetha man who was arrested in May 2018 for child sex crimes has requested a mental health evaluation, which has delayed his preliminary hearing until the court receives back the results.
Gage Gresham, 20, was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, Aug. 29, but his attorney requested a mental health evaluation, thus staying his hearing until the results are received.
Gresham was arrested on Saturday, May 26, and charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy and indecent liberties with a child. According to the complaint, it is alleged that Gresham engaged in sexual intercourse, sodomy and lewd fondling or touching with a 15-year-old child.
According the Nemaha County Attorney Brad Lippert, a request by Gresham in June 2018 to have his bond reduced was denied. His bond remains set at $200,000.
This case was investigated by the Sabetha Police Department.
