Brown County Commission 9.4.18
The Board of Brown County Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, Sept. 4. Members present were Chairman Steve Roberts, Keith Olsen and Dwight A. Kruse. Also present were County Clerk Melissa Gormley and Deputy County Clerk Dawn Boyles. Olsen opened the meeting at 8:10 a.m.
Steve Winters presented three quotes on replacement of the heating/AC at the American Legion building. The quotes were as follows: Waser Plumbing and Heating with a bid of $6,800 for a Goodman seer No. 13; Edelmans with a bid of $7,537.14 for a Trane seer No. 16, $9,420 for a Trane seer No. 18, and Koehn Heating and Cooling with a bid of $9,500 for a Lennox seer No. 14. The commissioners accepted Edelman’s bid for the Trane seer No. 16 in the amount of $7,537.14 to be paid for from the commissioner’s fund.
Brown County Treasurer Cheryl Lippold introduced Kayla Meisenheimer as a new employee to the Treasurer’s Office.
Brown County Deputy Appraiser Teresa Clements presented the Statistical Compliance Report to the Commission for their review. Clements reported that Brown County is 100 percent in compliance.
