Morrill City Council 9.4.18

The Morrill City Council met in regular session on Tuesday, Sept. 4, with members Dan Halstead, Todd Gruber, Kevin Wikle and Robert Baumgartner present. Mayor Roger Price presided. Superintendent Lee Wymer also was present.
Minutes and vouchers were approved.
It was mentioned that when the ground dries up, the old trailer house will be removed.
After reviewing prices for a new hot saw, council members approved the purchase of a 16-inch saw from Farm and City Supply.
It was decided to contact the Code Enforcement Officer to send the owner of the church another notice.
Wymer said there is a sink hole on which he would like advice.
The owner of Sycamore Springs has old poles available to the city. No interest was made to acquire them.
The matter of repairing the digger derrick truck was tabled.
Gruber said he is repairing his front porch and asked if he needs a building permit. It was decided he does not since he is only repairing it.
