ORDINANCE INFRACTIONS

Amy Sinn, driver’s license not in possession, no proof of liability insurance.

Cari Smith, speeding.

Christy Clark, no proof of liability insurance.

Michael Leiker, speeding.

Megan Thompson, no proof of liability insurance.

ACCIDENTS

On Saturday, Sept. 1, the Sabetha Police Department (SPD) took a report of a minor one-vehicle accident in the 100 block of South Old Highway 75.

On Saturday, Sept. 1, the SPD took a report of a minor two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of South Old Highway 75.

On Sunday, Sept. 2, the SPD took a report of a minor one-vehicle accident in the 100 block of North Old Highway 75.

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, the SPD responded to a two-vehicle accident near 14th and Main streets. Loren Topp was eastbound on Main, operating a 2002 Toyota, when they struck an unoccupied vehicle legally parked on the side of the street. The Toyota had to be towed away from the scene do to damage sustained in the accident. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

CASES

On Sunday, Sept. 2, the SPD began an investigation of a theft report in the 300 block of North Ninth Street. The investigation remains ongoing.

On Monday, Sept. 3, the SPD arrested Lenna Kouts, 41, of Sabetha for driving under the influence and driving while suspended. Kouts was transported and booked into the Nemaha County Jail.

On Saturday, Sept. 8, the SPD arrested Lenna Kouts, 41, of Sabetha for driving under the influence second offense and driving while suspended. Kouts was transported and booked into the Nemaha County Jail.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the SPD arrested Crystal Millar, 36, of Neodesha, for domestic battery. Officer’s responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of South Fifth Street. After an investigation was made into the disturbance, it was believed that probable cause existed to take Millar into custody. Millar was transported and booked into the Nemaha County Jail.

On Saturday, Sept. 15, the SPD arrested Joshua Hass, 26, of Salem, Neb., for driving under the influence. Hass was transported and booked into the Nemaha County Jail.

On Saturday, Sept. 15, the SPD took a report of theft in 200 block of South Fifth.
