Morrill City Council 10.1.18

The Morrill City Council met in regular session on Monday, Oct. 1, with members Todd Gruber, Robert Baumgartner, and Dan Halstead present and Mayor Roger Price presiding.
Minutes and vouchers were approved.
Members of the Morrill Tip Top 4-H Club read their proclamation, declaring Oct. 7 through Oct. 13, as National 4-H Week. Council signed the proclamation and thanked them for the presentation.
An individual had been asked to move his car trailer away from a corner. No one knew if he has.
It was decided to have the code enforcement officer send the land owner where the old trailer house is located a notice to remove the trailer by Nov. 5.
The code enforcement officer stated she had sent a notice to the old church owner to submit a plan to the council by Oct. 20.
A building permit was approved. Council also approved canceling check no. 9295 in the amount of $5.
Discussed were possible candidates to fill the vacant council position.
It was decided to instruct Supt. Lee Wymer to trim the trees that had caused problems over the weekend.
