“Cheerful” mural brightens alley

The Sun Wall mural in Sabetha is complete after four Sabetha High School students approached Printing Impressions owner Susan Johnson about painting it on the back of her building. Johnson’s husband Jim powerwashed, primed and repainted the back of the building in preparation of the mural being created. “We wanted to bring something cheerful to Sabetha, and we thought a mural would do it,” said Jeanelle Wenger, Mariah Russell, Kirsten Wenger and Reggie Garrett. The mural depicts a sun in the shape of Kansas with a heart over the City of Sabetha, as well as the longitude and latitude of Sabetha and #SunWall.
