Court Update: Gage Gresham
A Sabetha man who was arrested in May 2018 for child sex crimes has entered a plea of no contest at his arraignment hearing last week.
Gage Gresham, 20, appeared in court Thursday, Nov. 1, for his arraignment. At the arraignment, Gresham entered a plea of no contest and was convicted of two counts of indecent liberties with a child. According to Nemaha County Attorney Brad Lippert, a third charge of criminal sodomy was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
Gresham is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday, Dec. 6. He remains incarcerated in the Nemaha County Jail.
Gresham was arrested on Saturday, May 26, and charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy and indecent liberties with a child. According to the complaint, it is alleged that Gresham engaged in sexual intercourse, sodomy and lewd fondling or touching with a 15-year-old child.
This case was investigated by the Sabetha Police Department.
