Law Enforcement Report: Nemaha County Sheriff 11.6.2018
Natalie R. Leishing, 19, of Bern was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on Nov. 2 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. She remains in custody with bond set at $5,000.
Stacey L. Lewis, 48, of Sabetha was arrested on Nov. 3 by Sabetha Police Department (PD) on a Shawnee County warrant for failure to appear. She remains in custody with bond set at $500.
Gregory R. Fisher, 56, of Sabetha was arrested by Sabetha PD on Nov. 3 for the offense of domestic battery. Fisher remains in custody.
At 3 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, Jeremiah J. Clary, 29, of Sabetha was backing up in a yard at 225 Minnesota in Wetmore when he struck a gas meter. He was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
At 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, Christopher Latham, 42, of Wetmore was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 0.4 mile east of N Road, when he struck a deer. Latham was driving a 2015 Chevy Silverado. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
At 9:06 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, Kenneth D. Miller, 45, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on Kansas Highway 36 at milepost 41 when he struck a raccoon. He was driving a 2018 Dodge Charger. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
