GOVERNING BODY: Morrill City Council

The Morrill City Council met in regular session Monday, Nov. 5, with members Dan Halstead, Todd Gruber, Kevin Wikle and Brad Stolzenberger present, and Mayor Roger Price presiding.
Minutes and vouchers were approved.
Fire Chief Charlie Gruber stated the fire department had ordered t-shirts asking if payment could be made out the city fund with the pancake fund reimbursing the city. It was decided to pay for the shirts in this manner.
The old trailer has been removed from the city.
After discussing several options to have the old church cleaned up, the council decided to start the process to condemn the property.
It was decided to get a copy of Sabetha’s ordinance concerning electrical service connections after discussing an individuals request for electrical service.
After reviewing the proposed 2019 health insurance premiums, the council decided to accept the plan.
It was mentioned tree limbs at the old community building can be trimmed by Superintendent Lee Wymer.
It was decided to have the code enforcement officer issue a notice to a homeowner to inform them their house demolition needs to proceed; and send notice to another property owner to clean up the property, including a derelict vehicle.
