Five Bluejays receive KFBCA honors

Five Bluejays have been honored by the Kansas Football Coaches Association for their performance during the 2018 football season. 

The Sabetha Bluejays completed the 2018 season with a perfect 13-0 record and second consecutive 3A State title. 

Four seniors were named to the first team, while Head Coach Garrett Michael was named 3A Coach of the Year.

Lineman Elliott Strahm was a Top 11 pick for the KFBCA All State Team, as well as a first team defensive lineman. 

Joe Gruber was honored as running back, Braeden Cox as kicker and secondary, and Cauy Rokey as defensive line.

The KFBCA honors only seniors from schools whose coach is a member of the organization.
