Brown County Commission 12.31.18
The Board of Brown County Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, with Commissioners Keith Olsen and Dwight A. Kruse present. Also present were County Clerk Melissa Gormley and Deputy County Clerk Dawn Boyles. County Attorney Kevin Hill was present for a portion of the meeting.
The commissioners approved the Dec. 31, 2018, month-end claims totaling $542,742.06 as follows: General, $138,180.13; Road and Bridge $51,563.38; Health, $18,500; Historical Society, $4,166.66; Employee Benefit, $71,980.12; Election, $870.65; Developmental Services, $2,254.37; Capital Improvement, $41,404.09; Appraiser, $18,434.76; Ambulance, $12,116.44; Noxious Weed, $2,236.90; Special Parks and Rec, $7,195.00; Diversion, $908.01; 911 SB50, $114,839.19; ACC, $5,153.46; JJCR, $8,579.70; Investment Grant, $206.83; Services for Elderly, $2,961.35; Solid Waste, $40,905.36; and Payroll, $285.66.
Sheriff John Merchant reported that there are 15 male inmates in the County Jail.

The Commissioners went into executive session to discuss privacy interests of non-elected personnel with the two commissioners, Hill, Merchant and Gormley present. Following the executive session, no binding action was taken.
The commissioners reviewed and approved the Dec. 28 meeting minutes.
