Morrill City Council 12.17.2018

The Morrill City Council met in regular session on Monday, Dec. 17, with members Brad Stolzenberger, Todd Gruber and Kevin Wikle present and Mayor Roger Price presiding.

Minutes and vouchers were approved.

Council members approved Resolution No. 465 to condemn a property with a hearing date of Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.

It was decided to cease attempts to collect a fine and associated costs.

Melanie Teeter stated a bumper assembly was mistakenly picked up by the trash service. After discussion, it was decided their trash service at both business locations will be allowed to be canceled immediately, keeping their house on the trash service.

A meeting with KMEA representatives had taken place. The matter was tabled until all council members are present before making a decision concerning membership.

Council members approved canceling check No. 9681 and reissue it.

Nothing has been heard concerning demolition of a house.

After reviewing the delinquent accounts, it was decided to shut off four services if payments are not made.
