Holton Honor Band

Several fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students performed in the Holton Honor Band this year. They were split into four different bands – white, red, purple and blue – based on experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for band students to meet directors and students from other schools and play new music. They rehearsed their songs in the morning and put on a concert in the afternoon.

Members of the White Band were fifth graders Alivia Lang, clarinet; Abigail Whittaker, alto saxophone; and Ava Payne, trumpet.

Member of the Red Band was sixth grader Isaac Hartter, trumpet.

Members of the Purple Band were sixth graders Audrey Herrmann, trumpet; Landon Meyer, alto saxophone; and Laura Metzger, flute.

Members of the Blue Band were seventh and eighth graders EllaWynn Laipple, flute; Carly Hartter, flute; Abbey Gugelman, flute; Alexia Hayden, clarinet; Emerson Montgomery, clarinet; Harper Smith, alto saxophone; and Taylor Menold, euphonium.
