Law Enforcement Report: Nemaha County Sheriff
Dylan Barrett, 28, of Oneida was arrested by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) on Feb. 17 on a Nemaha County warrant for probation violation. He was released on the same day on a $565 cash bond. Court is set March 12 at 9 a.m.
Dylan Barrett, 28, of Oneida was arrested by the Seneca Police Department on Feb. 18 on charges of probation violation, battery, and criminal trespass. He remains in custody. He was released on Feb. 20 on a $7,500 surety bond for his probation violation. Court is set for March 12 at 9 a.m., and a $1,000 surety bond for his battery and criminal trespass charges. At 7:09 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, Emily Nolte, 22, of Topeka was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 0.2 mile east of O Road, when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow packed highway, causing her to leave the roadway and strike a guardrail. Nolte was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. More than $1,000 damage was estimated.
At 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, Carla Strathman, 31, of Axtell was traveling southbound on E Road, 50 feet North of 224th Road, when she struck a deer. Strathman was driving a 2015 GMC Yukon. More than $1,000 damage was estimated.
Sometime on Feb. 5 between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., an unknown individual took a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2014 32-foot Titan Flatbed trailer from 806 State Highway 9 in Centralia. Value of loss is approximately $23,500.
