William Carr, 64, of Seneca was released on March 7 on time served.
Robert Hobbs, 43, of Fairview was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on March 6 on a probation violation. Hobbs remains in custody.
Gary Davis, 33, of Topeka was released on March 7 on time served.
Sometime between 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, an unknown individual entered the residence at 302 Commercial in Centralia. At this time, nothing is believed to have been taken.
At 5:01 p.m. Thursday, March 7, the Seneca Police Department responded to a call at Dollar General in Seneca regarding a person who was littering in their parking lot. Upon arrival, the subject fled the scene, and the officer pursued. It was determined that the vehicle had been reported as stolen from St. Joseph, Mo. Nemaha County officers responded to the vehicle pursuit, which went through the City of Seneca, Corning and ended in a crash just west of the intersection of 56th Road and G Road at 5:33 p.m. At times during the pursuit, speeds reached 100 miles per hour. There is one suspect in custody receiving medical treatment. At this time, law enforcement is still attempting to verify the subject’s identity. The Kansas Highway Patrol is working the crash scene.
