ORDINANCE INFRACTIONS

ACCIDENTS

On Feb. 5, the Sabetha Police Department (SPD) responded to a one vehicle accident near 13th and Adams. A vehicle slid off the road and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.

On Feb. 7, the SPD took a report of a minor two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Ninth and Roosevelt. One vehicle slid on the road and rear ended the other, which was stopped at the stop sign.

On Feb. 10, the SPD responded to a two-vehicle accident at 192nd and 14th Street. One vehicle slid wide and collided with another vehicle stopped at the stop sign. No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.

On Feb. 18, the SPD responded to a two-vehicle accident near 14th and Adams. A vehicle backing up slid on the surface and impacted another stopped car. No injuries were reported.

CASES

On Feb. 6, the SPD took a report of a theft in the 1200 block of Colorado Street.

On Feb. 9, the SPD took a report of two thefts from two separate businesses on Old Highway 75. A suspect has been identified, and charges are pending as a result of the investigation.

On Feb. 24, the SPD arrested 27-year-old Felina Ibarra of Sabetha for domestic battery.

On Feb. 24, the SPD arrested 39-year-old Jason Braddock of Sabetha on a Sabetha municipal warrant for failure to appear.

On Feb. 26, the SPD took a report of a battery that occurred several days prior to its report. A suspect was named, and charges are pending as a result of the investigation.

On Feb. 28, the SPD took a report of theft in the 1500 block of South Old Highway 75. A suspect has been identified, and charges are pending as a result of the investigation.

On March 1, the SPD took a report of theft of services, and charges are pending.

On March 12, the SPD took a report of theft by deception. It was investigated and found to be a civil dispute over property.
