SFD hosts Regional Fire School

The Sabetha Fire Department hosted a Kansas State Fire Fighters Association (KSFFA) Regional Fire School on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7. The school was attended by 30 firefighters from from Sabetha, Ozawkie, Ellinwood, Marysville, Bern, Emporia, Du Bois, Neb., and Tamore, Neb. The KSFFA puts on a regional fire school every month at a different location in the State of Kansas. The school is taught by nine board members of the KSFFA. Kansas State Fire Marshal Doug Joregensen was a part of the opening ceremony on Saturday morning.
