Bluejays split with Wildcats

Junior Gabe Garber dives into second during the Sabetha-Holton contest on Monday, April 22.

The Sabetha Bluejay baseball squad traveled south to Holton to take on the Wildcats on the diamond on Monday, April 22. The two teams split the twin bill with the Wildcats coming out on top 6-4 in the opening game and the Jays bouncing back in the nightcap with a 7-4 victory.

“We split with Holton on Monday. We lost a tough game one, but bounced back in game two,” said Head Coach Aaron Frey. “I was proud of how the guys bounced back. It was one of those nights that nothing came easy.”
